Is there any way of making your hair thinner? I've got layers at the moment but it still seems as thick!

I straighten it everyday (if I'm going out) for about 1 hour 30 mins! It's a killer :( I also find that putting serum in it makes it greasy. I am only 15 :D

I have really thick and curly hair.. I've tried havening it thinned at a hair stylist and they use a thinning shears, but don't let them thin it too much otherwise you'll get little whisps of hair all over that frizz up... a straightening iron works and not blow drying your hair too... blow drying adds volume to hair especially if hair is dried from underneath w the blowdryer facing up. when you do use a blow dryer, start from the top w the blowdryer facing down... same with when you straighten, keep the iron close to your head and straighten hair straight down, not out...
get rid of your layers, especially if they're short... short layers make hair "fluff" up, if your hair is longer, and you need layers, get longer layers at the end... without the short layers in your hair it will get weighed down and appear less thick...
good luck!

How much of a pain is thick hair?!?!?!?!?!

I find if I put straightening serum on it before using straighteners, it seems a littler thinner. Other than that, I get my hairdresser to thin it out when ever I go for a trim.

in case you want your hair sense silky and gentle, attempt a creamy conditioner like Sunsilk Dream gentle & delicate Conditioner.practice the conditioner on your hair (not on the scalp).go away it on for 5 minutes. Then rinse it off.do not over rinse the completed conditioner.enable your hair dry evidently.do not use any warmth styling equipment. After it has develop into dry, practice a small quantity of go away-In conditioner.yet do not rinse this conditioner.on a daily basis save oiling your hair with organic hair oil containing aspects like Almond, Gooseberry, Hibiscus and Aloe Vera.
