Sure, if you know that person well enough you could. I have friends that met online and fell deeply for each other, but they had more than just their chats to back up who they are..

Especially in answers, you can respect many peoples views and values, and connecting to them is easy in friendship and respect. Plus you can look through all of their other questions and answers to get a feel for who they are, and what they like, and what makes them so attractive as a human being.

But I will say you should be very cautious about falling for a person or who they might present themselves as, because as you have said, it very well could be "the idea of who they present" may not be who they actually are.

You can fall over someone you've never met. Depends on the height difference at the time of the incident though.

Yes you can fall for someone you never met. I did - my girlfriend is the best thing since sliced bread!! shes a hot girl! I haven't met her yet but I know her inside and out, I have seen her and I love her. It works you just got to be honest and patient.

Depends on how long you have talked. I have a relationship that has been going for 3 years now, I feel so connected to him yet we have never "Met".

I think that it is sometimes the idea of who they are or the idea of want how you would want them to be. If they have a nice voice, wow...they must be good looking too!!! / Good looking...must be really nice....unfortunately this is not always the case. Hang on and see what goes around.

I'm not sure but I met my boyfriend on a blind date after texting him for two weeks. We were set up through friends. I wouldn't say I fell for him before I met him but the relationship we now have is the best ever. I wouldn't have encouraged blind dates before but it worked for me.
