That all depends on what your buget is. Any bird can be a good choice. It is always best to get a young bird, one that has been hand raised.
What you should do is research more about birds, check into how loud they are, what type of diets they require, how much it will cost to buy it. The larger birds will cost more to care for.

If I can be of any other help please let me know.

African Grays are pretty cool. Very intelligent and can learn a large vocabulary. The white cockatoo is also loaded with personality. I also had a little "pocket" parrot once. He literally would crawl into my shirt pocket and stay there and peek out into the world from there. Raising a cockatial from birth (including feeding it) is just about a guarantee for a lifelong (from the bird's point of view) friend. I had a Sun Conure once, too....very sweet and tame...always on my shoulder.

it all depends on how much space you have, how much of your time you can give the bird, can you actually afford the cost if keeping a bird. if not don't get one but if you can then you should decided what sort of things do you prefer: big or small
quiet or loud
colours etc.

Depends on how much attention you can give the bird. If it will be constant an Umbrella Cockatoo or a Cockatiel.

OMG PARAKEETS! They are very cheap but they are so cute and you can train them and stuff, My first one was so cool and it was so funny, it was a little ghetto bird it had me more scared of it than it was scared of me! But they are nice little playful birds they are like humans but in a odd way, they also can be very attachable cause when they die it makes you so sad cause you will fall in love with them!

One that's been really nicely roasted and has a lovely crisp skin! Yummy!

Silliness aside - if you mean as a pet, then none - not if you are going to keep them in a cage, it is so cruel. If you can have water fowl or hens outside, that is fine, but please don't get a budgie, or a parakeet or parrot and put in in a cage. They are beautiful creatures that were designed to fly free.
