What is the essence of colonialism and had it been i am not colonised, what will i be now?

A) "The White Race" isn't all white.
B) What have you achive by teaching us your language?
you haven't learned the language...but when you do...you will have achieved the ability to conduct business world wide because the business language of the world is my language...

Colonialism is a thing of the past. Most colonial - or colonized countrys having received independance...
What will be now is a choice between Democracy, Monarchy - very overrated, or terrorism.

I'm not white, but colonialism mostly changed people's culture. If one hadn't been colonised, the old civilizations and languages would be prominent and few would've adapted western culture. Perhaps the only upside to the language thing where I'm from is that now everyone can communicate within the same country without having to learn 150 languages.

You know, when I was younger I would have told you that everybody speaking the same language would make everything a lot easier for all of us. At this point, I know that we never will. And I mean even those of use that suppossedly speak the same language. I don't use the idioms my child does, it is a different flavor of the same language.
As to the second part, colonialism, it is an abomination. You rule the people of a different land because you have the military power to do so. Needless to say I am not a fan of our current president.

why are you asking this to white people now. I don't view people of differnt races that have been here in this country in that way. You shouldn't either. most of us are Americans. Look in a history book and stop thinking that white people today think like the ones back then. I have meet people and have had friends of people of many races, and not all of them think alike, they are not all clones of each others brains, niether are white people. get a clue man.
