How do I schedule softwares to run in windows XP sp2 at a given time?

I use windows XP sp2. i would like to schedule a software to automatically start up at a particular time. is this possible? if so how do i schedule it?

hi use the control (start setting control panel) panel select the task schedular. choose the program u wanna use. specify the program and choose ur options ur done. gud luck

Most will not run automatically but will pop up if you schedule them. so you are reminded to run them. The ones that run automatically cost.
