that bono cares about world poverty and does alot for it, but does anyone believe he " gives till it hurts" ? and what about the starving/homeless people in this country? the one that helped make him rich enough to dictate his morality?

I make 8000 a year, I give about 2000, a year, to inner city people directly. Does that qualify as give til it hurts? I would like to see them give like that too. I agree he should concentrate on the countries that made him rich, or even his homeland.
As for the starving people in this country, no one gives a rat's hiney, and that is sad.

I don't think it has anything to do with how RICH he is.... personally.

I think that anyone gets to say what they feel is MORALLY correct.

His money gives him a PLATFORM.

He's not DICTATING to me. I consider his position just like I do other people I care to listen too...

I give him no more, or less weight then MY conscience allows.

We need more people like him to get the mesage out. He has more clout than I do that's for sure.
