It was a close friend's eighteenth birthday yesterday. We went out for a meal - me and two other friends, her, her family and boyfriend.

Problem is, she wants me to go out clubbing tonight too, but I really don't want to - I've had three late nights this week, and I had a throat operation last year, and if I get too tired this starts to hurt. I also have to be up tomorrow morning to meet my boyfriend.

I don't want to hurt her feelings but i really don't want to go out... what do I tell her?

once u went for a meal with her yesterday i think she should understand, tell her u've had three late nights so if u go clubbing tonight and stay up late ur throat will hurt, im sure she's know about ur operation.

I would go with LoveMe's Answer---tell her the truth. I'm sure that she'll understand. Besides if she doesn't then shes not really one of your good friends!

Tell her that you had an appointment with your doctor and he asked you to take complete rest for couple of days.
