lo = Hello
lol = Laughs out loud.

Admittedly I used to think lol meant lots of love, until a bloke put it in an email to me!

LOL means Laugh Out Loud or Lots of Love (most usually the former ;-D). But I've no idea what LO means but it's probably just a typo for LOL!

lol is a quick way to type laugh out loud. There are other veriations of this such as lmao (laugh my *** off). the best way to pick on these is to jump in a chat room such as yahoo chat and watch how ppl use them. hopes this helps.

I know lol means laugh out loud, rolf means roll on floor laughing, wb means welcome back, ty means thank you. as for lo that one means nothing to me. I am 43 and chat in chat rooms I only know what they mean due to me asking when I see one of these abbreviations I also think a lot of people use them on mobile phone texts. Hope this helps

Laugh out loud. I personally think this is silly to put it in Yahoo answers, but a lot of people seem to like it, especially women.
