Do you deposit blood in a Bank?

Question

I just did. I donated a pint of blood today at the USA - Blood Bank. I go every time they call and they seem to call a lot. Do you donate too?

You get a free drink - don't get excited it just water or juice. A free snack (cookies and treats). But for high school seniors and college students it's different. If you go during a promotion you get a shirt or other items.

Oh - I'm up to 4 gallons.

I donate too, and hey there is always plasma blood donation. this is where you donate your blood for money. You get paid like $20-40 per donation. I'd check out http://bloodbanker.com for local programs.

Yes. I donate to the Red Cross several times a year. I am almost up to 4 gallons myself. As a matter of fact, I am giving a pint this morning at 11:00a.m.

Unfortunately, I'm not old enough yet. My parents both have and a couple of family members did though. I'm planning to do so in the future.

i donated twice so far. here in serbia we don't have blood banks though, we go to an ordinary hospital or so to do that.
it's a noble thing to do.

I would if i could but i have got a very low blood pressure, so it's not advisable! My hubby does though, i think he already did thrice.

Yes, i do on a regular basis and most of us who are healthy should do so, because you never know when we may need some for our selves from someone else.

i was eligable last year when they came to my school, but since i was on medication, i was not allowed to give blood.


i will definately give blood before this year ends.
