I disagreee SAN P. Marriage is a legal/religeous institution. And it need not be 50/50. What it needs to be is a committment and agreement on how things are going to be.

Don't really know.

What do you really want to know, actually? Whether it's a pleasant life or not? If so, that depends on what kind of person you are. I've seen some of my friends in this situation.

And there are two kinds of it: one where the couple fit each other. And one where they don't. The first marriage works well: the wife is literally the head of the family and it's okay. As long as they both accept it.

The second one is a mess. The wife wants her husband to take control. While the husband wants none of it. It's almost like the opposite of a power-struggle.

One thing is for sure: the society will be cruel toward the husband. Not every people are open to the ideas that men can be submissive in a heterosexual marriage. So both the man and woman need to embrace this fact and face them together (ladies first, in this case).

You must have married me ex. It was great, at first, and kind of a head rush. But in a few years, it's like having a dependent. Because they want to please you, you end up making all the decisions. Marriage is supposed to be a group effort or collaboration of 2 minds. Not you and a child. But I'm sure that works for someone who likes/needs to be in charge.

If you knew this ahead of time, I would think that you liked his submissiveness. You won't change him. If you are taken by surprise at his actions, get rid of him and give him to another aggressive woman who wants to control her man in every way. Obviously, that's what he wants.

My husband is completely obedient now. He does as I say and when I say it. And he gets punished when I want to teach obedience.
