I hope so. I'm not searching for the truth just so that I can cower in its face and run away.
One who searches should be prepared to accept whatever they may find.

This is a completely circumstansual question...I cannot answer.
Or I can answer the question with questions...
#1 Am I alive or dead when I find out?
#2 Who am I with, or am I alone?
#3 What "truth" are we talking about, religion, who my real dad was, that my gold fish died...etc. etc.
#4 Am I allowed to smoke at this "moment of truth", it may help me handle it better given the circumstances
Okay I could go on, I just really wanted to answer you, very good question. Thought provoking :)

When you look at the truth of the world and what goes on and all the suffering its hard not to be effected by that, but you just have to focus on the positives and the good things and realise the minority is bad , without the balances of joy and pain we would have no reference points of what is good and bad in the world.

Btw, it is whenever (one word) and what truth, exactly? The truth is subjective. Based on your question I can't be objective.

Expect that the worst can happen, and you will be ready for anything which may come your way.
