Clothes (of course) a toothbrush, a camera, a watch, money, someway to get home, a map of the area you're visiting, and a cell phone or some means of communication to the people back home. I travel a lot, my most recent trip going from Salem, Oregon to Washington, D.C., then from D.C. to New York, then back to Salem.
