Yu and only you can help him with this. Has he had bad relationships in the past? Let him talk about it but then draw a line underneath it and move on. The last thing you both want is to keep going back there.. Its horrible when the past keeps rearing its ugly head. The best way is to do what i have suggested. I know from past experiences that this is the only way forward.

Do u want more than what perhaps he wants? Have u asked him about marriage? sometimes just the thought of that puts the fear of god into men. They think that once that ring goes on the finger their whole life will change. Just talk about it i'm sure its nothing major.

a lot of people have a fear of commitment. this often means the person is insecure and is a fraid of getting hurt. or it could mean he feels he is too much of a man to show love to just one person. often people dont want to commit as they dont have to settle and can play the field. talk to him and let him know you will nor tie him down by stopping him seeing matesa and all that stuff. hope this helps.

Hun, time is the only healer truly...we are all different but if your relationship is going to become something serious then it just takes a lot of time and patience...I wish you well!

Tell him you want a break to assess the relationship.. And give him some time to decide what he wants...

If he is happy being free, move on...
