My favorite male x-men character is, naturally, the Iceman! He's one cool dude (pun intended!) and very handy to have around on a hot day!
As for the women, I like Emma Frost's style. She takes no prisoners, and she's one tough chica - and I'm not talking about the diamond skin, either! I do have to wonder how much she's worth, being a living diamond.... her psychic powers are nothing to sneeze at as well!

Fave male has to be Wolverine, Logan rocks. Movie *and* comics. For female, Rogue, but only on the comics, the movie one is a different person altogether.

It's a touch generic, but Wolverine is my favourite. He's just bad-***. As for females? I would have to go with Pheonix. She was crap in X:3 but she's really evil in the comics.

Male: Wolverine. The mysteries of his past make him one of the most interesting characters of all.
Female: Rogue. She's hot and her powers maker quite unusual from your typical superhero. Especially the fact that she has two complete personas in her.
