I would like to say no to this, but in doing that I would be lying. I like to get even, as I call it, although when I get revenge, I do it in a way so as to make the person believe that I didnt realise that it would harm them, or get back to them. I spose this is so I dont look like as bad a person, which makes me look even worse here as I answer this. I don't feel sorry for any revenge that I have givin.

As someone who is of Irish decent I not only believe in taking revenge. I also believe in holding a grudge for as long as it takes to get revenge. If your new to the revenge game it's not something to be rushed. Pick your spot wait for the right moment don't just spit in someones coffee cut out a table leg so the whole damn pot spills on em. The whole point of revenge is not to get even but instead to one up the person.

I totally believe in taking revenge - calculated, sharp, swift revenge on anyone who has wronged you. If you feel that your retaliation re-balances the fairness quotient of the universe, you will immediately feel empowered and better, and able to move on without lingering resentment. But here's the catch - your revenge must 'match' what was done against you - too much revenge and you will feel awful.

Revenge is a necessary evil. You have to put certain people in their places, or else they will stomp on you mercilessly. If they sense your a wimp and won't seek revenge, you will suffer and be humilated to no end. Bullies will march all over you if you behave like a doormat. Just remember, however, dish out what you received. Don't go overboard on revenge, just use enought to get even, not to stomp on your enemy. That could create long lasting bad blood.

Normally I do not like to take revenge. I just ignore.
However in my 46 years life I have taken real revenge only twice.

No - and I know that this sounds corny - but the best way to get revenge is to go on and live your life as fully as possible. Mean/rude/petty people cannot stand to see others succeed and be happy. It is the best revenge.

Taking revenge is dull practice cuz there is every possibility of striking back of opposition. Taking necessary steps to stop opposition to do wrong with us is wise thinking. To achieve this everything is fair.
Take my word this way u feel u hv settled the score against opposition also.

Two wrongs don't make a right!
One shows much more integrity by walking away than acting out revenge.

It depends on what they did. But if I did feel that revenge was necessary, I would at least use the help of the law, so that I am not wrong myself.

Yes. Revenge is should be taken when you have been wronged. Turning the other check does not work.
