John was a deep thinking man and yes we should give peace a chance.Aiso in the words of another song by the Culture Club "War is stupid and people are stupid".It is obvious the world's so-called leaders have not learnt from others past mistakes.

most have tried this and still trying. no one will compromise the other is always wanting it their way. so really this is a wasted question. a great question but just not doable. really sad that the world does not have the temperament and Superior mind of Lennon. if we did we would all live in peace like had hoped.

Peace is must for survival and prosperity of man kind. Peace if given chance will be successful. However, you cannot establish peace at gun point. You must respect others.
