1992 Honda prelude will not shift out of park. Brake lights come on when brake pedal is pushed. I hear a click at shifter but still will not come out of park it is an automatic. I had this problem a year ago replaced some sort of gray box mechanic told me it was some kind of relay he also said my keys were worn bad but did not replace the ignition switch or cylinder.

I had the same problem with my Acura, it's the ignition lockout switch.

If your keys are worn, get new ones made at a locksmith or anywhere that copies keys. You shouldn't have to purchase an entire ignition for worn keys.
The relay shouldn't be bad if it was new when it was replaced a year ago.
I have a couple suggestions to try before paying someone for their help. First, try turning the steering wheel. They usually lock, but sometimes it needs just a little help to get into position.
Otherwise, look around (usually just ahead of the shifter) for a little tab that can be removed by prying it with a small flat screwdriver. Once it is out of the way, stick the screwdriver straight down into the hole and shift into neutral. The car does not need to be running for the release to work this way.
I learned a lot of tricks for different types of cars when I drove a flat bed tow truck. But my Honda experience is limited, so I hope one of these helps. Good luck!

That gray box wold be your gear box. The Transmission is probably disconnected from the gearbox. Take it in to a mechanic and have him check the transmission, it may need replacing.
