I guess N. Korea can kill people and get away with it, and the U.S. if you kill the enemy they put you in jail.

N Korea does test missiles as the action of N Korea on the 4th makes clear. Other countries may be nervous because the leader of N Korea has made threats against other countries.

Because N.Korea is a military dictatorship that is known for having violent tendancies towards other countries, aka THE KOREAN WAR.

Besides, the fact that they argue about UN weapons inspectors coming in to check on them makes the whole thing more suspicious.

btw, it's bcz we r a democratic country

Excuse me, when was the last time the US tested missiles by firing them at other countries? When was the last time the US threatened to nuke somebody just because they can?
As one other answerer already stated, there is no such thing as LOGIC with North Korea.
The US is NOT allowed to test missiles by firing at other countries. Don't be ridiculous.

Open my logic mind? Well, thanks for the English lesson, but for one thing no one worries about us flipping out and launching something at, say, Venezuala just because we disagree with them. North Korea, unlike us, is totalitarian with a deep hatred of many of the countries around it, *and* its unstable: there may be disputes in the leadership, it's possible some military may decide on its own to launch a missle without the approval of the leadership. North Korea is also active in trading technology with other regimes we don't like.

Our track record is better than theirs. N. Korea is in a very hostile part of the world and they have an evil dictatorship in charge of their country. The world, NOT JUST the U.S. knows they should not have the ability to shoot any kind of missile at Japan or other surrounding countries, much less a nuclear war head. It would have a devastating chain reaction. And may god be with them if they ever shoot one at America.

It's not just the USA that is nervous about N Korea having these weapons, it is several countries. The concern is their intent. If they are building the weapons strictly for self defense than that is their own business. If they want to use them to attack other countries, then it is everyone's.

For the same reason that Iran can't have nuclear missles

because the US and the western world doesn't want them to and has enough influence to excert pressure

It's because North Korea aims them at other countries when they test them.
