Been to quite a few now.
Phantom still rocks, every single time.

I know a lot of people love Les Miserables, but saw it for the first time recently and spent the first half nodding off and the second half furious with the emotional button-pushing, so wouldn't recommend it.

If you want a show that will stay with you and quite conceivably scare the pants off you, try Woman in Black.

The Garrick has a good record of putting on shows that give a good night out, and is currently showing Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell, starring Tom Conti - got to be worth a giggle.

Stomp is a classic energiser - you'll come out feeling you've been plugged into the mains and dosed up on espresso.

Chicago....Chicago's a bit hit and miss. When we saw it, Brooke Shields was starring, and we walked out halfway. But it does change its principal cast so often, the show might well have re-energised since then. If you've seen the movie version, I'd say it's best avoided, but if not it might give you a good time.

I've also heard good things about Blood Brothers, Mary Poppins and Guys and Dolls. If you use any of the links below it'll give you a list of shows on in London - if nothing from the list I've given appeals, try the list on the site and see what appeals to you.

Have a good night!

I saw the Woman in Black (not to be confused with the Woman in White) a few years back and really enjoyed it. A classic ghost story and really well done. The Fortune theatre is also a great location and is perfect for the show, being slightly smaller and more intimate than some of the the larger theatres.

But, with so manty west end shows to see, I dont think you will be short of options!

I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to go and see

If you want a good whodunit, go and see Agatha Christie's "The Mouse Trap" at the St Martin's Theatre. It's been running for about 54 years, some 20,000 performances I read somewhere, so they should have got it right by now.

Good suspense yarn and I can tell you now that the murderer is... AAaaarrrggggghhhhhh!!... George AAaaarrrggggghhhhhh!! that is.
