Do You beleive in Serendipity? did u ever had any fortunate discoveries by accident. or got some good signs from unexpected fortunate events?
Or u dont believe in it...........it happens in movies only..lol..

I loved Serendipity the movie very much, but that was probably because of Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack, plus I do believe in fate.
I don't think we shouldn't act upon our feelings and should just blindly wait, but I do believe that what will be... will be...
I also happen to believe in love at first sight. Let me explain both... I never dated anyone in my life until I met my wife, but certain elements and events leading up to meeting my wife made it a certainty that she was the one.
Again, I never dated anyone until meeting my wife. The only person I came close to asking out, was the sister of one of my elementary school friends (their parents were my parents close friends). We had known each other because she was my friends sister, but back then she was this skinny little sister that just seemed more a nag than anything. Then one day she came back from college and it was like "wow, she's all grown up and beautiful." I thought about her for a few days and finally decided to ask her out. I dropped in a quarter into a pay phone and keep in mind that a call is only $.25, but for some reason the telephone was asking for $.50. I didn't have another quarter on me, so I couldn't complete the call, so I just hung up and said forget about it, it wasn't meant to be.
A few years later, I'm working at this one company but not particularly happy. I go for an interview at this company that I wasn't really interested in, but went because it was the company that the nephew of the head chef at my brother's restaurant worked at. Anyhow, the interview went well and I got the position, but I said I would think about it. I went back to my job and througout the day, I was thinking of staying and saying no to the other job. For some reason, the company van that I was to take home that Friday was purposely driven out by this one warehouse supervisor that I totally dispised. That one incident turned my whole day around and I quit and accepted the other job.
The following Tuesday, I go into work and the first person I see entering my work area is my wife sitting at the end work station... all beautiful. I knew then that if she were not married, I was going to marry her.
As it turned out, she was not married, but dating someone in a very bad relationship... to make a very very long story not so long... I waited 15 months for her, and we ended up dating each other. Six years later we married, and now six years later we have two wonderful children...
Fate, destiny, love at first sight, serendipity... I believe it all...

Yes it does. But it doesn't really bring in big changes like they show in the movies. Guess life can't be all that easy.

I DO! many great things happened to me by accident... or shall i call it 'accident', hm?... are there accidents in our lives?
