Right now its 0530 in the morning, I'm on my second cup of coffee, and feel lucky to have the mental clarity to pose this question. In an hour or so I'll be at my best. But things go down hill after lunch, and by 3PM I'm useless. When are you at your best?

I'm at my best inbetween 6am and Noon. I can work, play or slob around better during those 6 hours, then any other time of day.

My brain is at it's best between six in the morning and three in the afternoon. Since I wake up around five AM, by three I'm winding down. The Army turned me into an early bird, and I've never been able to sleep late since!

To be honest, hardly ever. I have such an easily disrupted smart quotient that unless the conditions are just perfect I am a little un-bright. I need a good nights sleep, nothing weighing on my mind, a good breakfast and no one pushing at me(nervous). I call this the"Perfect Brainstorm" cause it happens on occasion but rarely when I want it.

When I am the smartest must mean what time of day.
I think I am at my best around nine in the morning as long as I get up around six. I need time to wake up but I do my best work first thing in the workday. I need to be in bed by nine at night to get up at six though.
Thank you for asking.

SERIOUSLY though, I would suggest that when you are in a hypnogogic state, nearly asleep, your ability to access your unconscious mind (called your subconscious sometimes) is greater because you are almost in a hypnotic state. You may have heard of people being able to remember things when hypnotized where they otherwise could not. EVERYTHING YOU EXPERIENCE is stored in your unconscious. So, theoretically you are able to access - or have accessed - your entire library of knowledge in this state. Thus you are as "smart" as you could be because YOU would "know" everything you have ever witnessed at this time...make sense?

People have different optimum times according to their customary daily routine. If someone like you discovers his best time period then he can make good usage of it. Mine is between 10 a.m and 10 p.m.

WE WERE TOLD , BACK IN THE EIGHTIES , THAT 4 P.M. IS THE BEST TIME TO STUDY......IT WORKED FOR ME .
IF YOU GET OUT OF BED AT 7.30 A.M. , THEN 4 P.M. TO 6 P.M. IS WHEN YOU ARE MOST ALERT .
MAKE SURE YOU EAT RIGHT...LIGHT FOOD LIKE FRUIT .

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU GET PROPER REST .
