Yes ,Yes ,Yes ,The cheater may treat the next person with respect .But if you forgive and the person cheated on you .It's done .Now if they really hurt by the loss the next relationship may work .Now if the cheater was seeing you as the "other" then they know you except that they are a cheater and will not change because you liked them that way ,hiding , sneaking , lying ,,,,,

It depends on the circumstances and how honest he was about the first time.

If he thinks he made a big mistake and realises he did something really stupid and nearly lost everything then he won't do it again.

Alternatively if he thought he got caught out having some fun and got in trouble but it all blew over then why not have another go?

If you can talk to him about what happened and why and maybe how to make sure he doesn't go off the rails again then you'll be safe.

i say if they are with someone and they cheat on that person to be with you then more than likely they will cheat again. I myself technically cheated on my first love, even though i knew the weeks before i knew she had been seeing someone else but never mentioned it and knew that soon she was going to tell me that it was over. but i cheated none the less. then went on to cheat on someone else. then broke up and had no technical commitment for 3 yrs. and would never in my life cheat on the person i am with no not even if my life depended on it. So from a cheater's stand point they can change, but probably not if they cheated on you, and want to stay with you, for your emotional sake you should dump them and start over because whether they decided to change or not ... forever in your mind you'll always wonder if the reason they didn't come over when they said they would is because they where doin' someone else

I don't think this is a true statement! I think that a person that cheats has a little trouble with the relationship that their in. They might not be getting things that they need. Not saying that it's their partners fault. IT"S NOT!!! Maybe the person that is cheating doesn't love the person that their with. The next person that they become involved with they might love them more than the last one and don't want to cheat on them. There are a number of reason a person cheats. If your partner is cheating on you I think you should think about it a little the pros and cons of your relationship. AND THEN MOVE ON

Not true at all! I cheated all day on one, but passed up a 3-way and various encounters w/ the other, it's all about how it is w/ your partner. Treat your man right, and he has no reason to stray.

He's bound to roam.

Why leave home?

once they do it the first time they will continue to do it ... YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE THAT CRAP!!! they think they can get away with it...or that you will just forgive them and that it ok to do it...you need to set the standards!!
and let them know I wont take this crap and that they can find some other person that has low self esteem to keep doing this to them...they think ohh well I asked forgiveness or I bought this for her she will just forgive me, she will never leave me..or she will always take me back...dont put yourself in that position.. if he really loves you he would never cheat on you...

i really don't think so.. Depends on the person... for some this statement is true but not for all...There are many reasons someone would cheat and many ways to find out if u will do it again..
