First things first - Please bear in mind, it is normal to have 'baby belly' after having a baby. Your body has been through an awful lot! It is never wise to exercise too heavily or to go on a diet straight after birth, particularly if you are breastfeeding!

However, if its been a while, and you are still fretting about it, then really, the simplest way of doing it (this is THE BEST SECRET IN TONING) - is every time during the day you remember, suck your stomach muscles in and hold them for as long as possible. Literally every time you remember to do it, do it. And when you sit down, sit up straight, holding the belly in, rather than slumped over and letting it all hang out!

This is how I did it, and literally, I noticed an improvement after about a week. Of course, sit ups and the usual fare are going to help too, but that method is so much more simple. When you are ready to progress, try this yogic method.

1) Take a deep breath in.

2) Whilst breathing out, push your belly inwards. (ie, tighten the muscles).

3) As you breathe in again, pull your body upwards.

Good luck!

Everyone will tell you sit ups, but if it were that easy, you would have done it by now.

The exercise you need is a process of building a whole muscle system round the abdomen.

1. On your back, one leg at a time, lift straight and hold and down then the other. Do that a few times!!! quite a few if you can!

2. Position as 1 hands behind head and lift just head and shoulders off, hold and return. a few of those read jojo80 she says it so nicely

3. As one. and two hands behind head and lift elbow to cross over and twist to the knee (knees are up)

Do say 20 a day of each and increase the number when it becomes easily doable.

There is a tape called "Ten Minute Pilates" that does a 10 min focus on abs/legs and thighs/arms and flexibility. Now, and especially when my kids were babies-10 minutes was about all that I could fit in. If I could do 2 or 3 of the sessions-I felt great. Great results which you can really feel the day or two after.

Stomach (upper) or Rectus Abdominus,
Stomach (outside) or Serratus Anterior
and Intercostals

Lie down on the floor or a mat and place your feet flat on the floor. Keep your back and head straight, then lift your shoulders up off the floor by about 4 to 6 inches. Hold this position for a few seconds, then slowly return back down to the floor.
Don’t tuck your chin into your chest. Breathe out when your shoulders are off the ground

I found that picking my babies up and playing with them (as well as running the house) soon shifted my baby belly! Try some exercises with your baby - turn it into a fun session for both of you. The Pampers website is a good one for suggestions! Good luck.

Watch this video at http://www.customizedfatloss.link to learn how you can lose belly fat and get six pack abs in a short period of time. It will blow your mind. I was able to lose the belly fat and get ripped in only 6 weeks.

You will also have access to a fully customizable online weight loss software system which uses body type, age, sex, weight and current fitness level to determine the most appropriate amount of food to eat and when. It also includes a training program specific to your body type. Good luck!

situps wont help that strengthens your abs and does not make you loose fat. the best thing to is free weights, it tones you up also go for a run after me making over 10 people loose between 3-5 stone and like 5 handfalls of fat i feel i know what i am on about. running is the best way, then weights follow. the run looses fat the wights tone it up so you are not saggy. good luck though

Youre not going to like the answer but it works....Sex....with you on top...the rocking motion of your abdomen while on top of him along with the cardio benefit of it will literally melt away that baby fat! It is however unfortunate that the very best excersize for getting rid of that fat, can in fact make you pregnant again!

Sit-ups, crunches and twist. Try the Palloti System it really works. I tried it out just messing around with it, went to work later on; when I laughed I could feel every muscle in my abdomen. It worked for me!
