Go ahead My Friend, this is the best chance for you tryin to be the better person (in commitment matter I mean). If You never try and you`ll stayed the way You are forever. Better failed in tryin` than not, at least without You realized, having a progressed in Your Personality.
And finally, when You`ve been tryin to over and over you`ll be the different guy who keep commitment to partner successfully

if u really like the person.. try it out. u'll b suprised how love can change so many things including your commitment problems.
