If your friends were the intended victims and they won then there is no reason to add any more violence.

A fight is over when submission is achieved.If an opponent submits to the victor there is no need for further force to be used.The proper course of action would be to either call the authorities and have them charged or let them go with a warning.However,in the heat of the moment I would probably be tempted to go and see their teacher and slap him around a bit if he gave me any cheek.

If the aggressors are already on the ground, then no. That would go from self-defense to assault with a deadly weapon. They'll give you 20 years for that ****.

Of course .Imagine what would have happened if your friends didn't **** them up , besides just the thought of them trying to jump your friends is good enough. But this is just my opinion.
