I know that's kind of a difficult question because it gets into how you would define a "war," but still, does anyone have any idea if there has ever been any time period when it is generally accepted that there were largely no wars going on? Actually, part of me suspects that there has never been such a time, but I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Conflict of some kind is an essential part of life.War can take many forms and does not necessarily involve physical violence or human opponents.There are wars of words and ideas being waged everywhere there are people.It would be impossible for needed changes to occur
without some sort of disruption to the status quo.Chinese martial arts classics rightly point out that the ideal war strategy is to win without a single casualty.Failing that,the second best option is to have all the casualties on the other side.
