I'd have to agree with that one... I've encountered too many people in life who have basically given up because its too hard to turn the bend in the road, from fear or unwillingness to change or other reasons.
Sometimes it is ok to stop and not make the turn for a little while coz you have to deal with stuff or need help but its a danger to sit and stay on the corner. It is also almost an insult to yourself and the one who created you if you refuse to move forward in life, and you may also rob those who need your help, because you are not there to offer yourself to them...
Some people can't handle bends in the road because they believe that it doesn't fit into their "plan", but sometimes there is a bigger plan out there that we need to surrender ourselves to.
As Anne of Green Gables once said, "I shall give life here my best, and I believe it will give its best to me in return. When I left Queen's my future seemed to stretch out before me like a straight road. I thought I could see along it for many a milestone. Now there is a bend in it. I don't know what lies around the bend, but I'm going to believe that the best does. It has a fascintion of its own, that bend, Marilla. I wonder how the road beyond it goes - what there is of green glory and soft, checkered light and shadows - what new landscapes - what new beauties - what curves and hills and valleys further on..."

Yes, I agree with you that the bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you refuse to take the turn. Why? do you intend to stop or refuse to take the turn??? Remember, that after that bend or turn, there is always a straight lane/road or a diverging road or a crossroads ahead that you can still take or you can go back. So, why stop when there are other roads to take. It is a matter of choice. Life must go on. . . . Best of luck. :)

The bend in the road is never the end of the road. If you refuse to take the turn, you have only stopped short on the journey.

I definitely agree with you. At times we tend hit rock bottom and the only solution in your eyes would sometimes be the end of the road. But in life every situation can be changed if you look at the bright side.
Making the turn might at times be a bad thing or a good thing but surely their is always light in the end of the tunnel/ road.
When at the end of the road never be afraid to ask for directions!!!

No I do not agree :) If you refuse to take the turn, you are refusing to play by the rules and take the known path. You are creating your own ways. You take the road less travelled through the meadows. You could have it both ways: Not take the turn, and not take the road. And you create new ways towards your own destination - and not someone elses! So, in SOME situations (and not in all) you need to just keep going in good faith...

Yes I agree. In the road of life there will be many bends, twists, & turns. Unless you give up on life & choose not to go forward, these are not the end but an opportunity to grow & move forward.

I agree with that saying. Until you take the bend, you'll never know what's beyond it. Which is of course, life. Until you try something you've never done before, how do you know what it is? But do keep in mind that while death is something never tried, it is one of those things that cannot be undone (in most cases) so I advise against that one.

Absolutely, and I'd add that if you don't take the turn then you would overshoot the road and end in the valley.

I AGREE. Our mobility is not limited geographically. It all depends on our will power, wise decision making and constant connection with God.
