Their time has passed.. Penny and Hill were very explosive when they arrived in the league, often called the next MJ and wold dominate the league, but the physical play on the NBA just took a toll on them.. There is no assurance Wade and James will still be remembered 3-5 years from now and still be a superstar..

But then again, there is always something else to do..

Grant Hill was actually an all star two years ago, so i think there is still some fight left in him. its sad tho he wuz like the second best player in the league 7 or 8 years ago. as 4 penny, i think hes done, hes been playin very few minutes last couple of years.

Hardaway will never come back and it's sad because even Magic Johnson said he's the next magic. Grant Hill will not come back to all-star status but he'll return to teach the young Magic.

Penny had Microfracture surgical treatment in 2000-01 season that led to him to decelerate and not in any respect recovered. whilst supply Hill had sequence of injuries yet on no account had the same harm as Penny have been given it is the reason supply Hill has been waiting to return back and play whilst Penny on no account recovered. the two adult adult males have been "inheritor obvious" to Micheal Jordan interior the ninety's. yes i think both of them can come back and play but im pretty sure they'd just be role players on their teams playin' 5-10 mins per game. they're not the same players they used to be, they're just damaged goods plain and simple...
