I have found in net that in week 32 the baby comes to the normal position that is head down and prior to this he is in the position where buttock is down.
I am 19 week pregnant and got the ultrasound done. In the result Breech Presentation was mentioned. Doctor although said everything is fine. But as its my first Child and out of excitement I seached what is breech presentation. Whatever was mentioned abt Breech Presentation was awesome I am little scared. I want to know whether it is normal that baby is head up position in early weeks in second trimister.

Please Help

The best time to try to turn a breech baby is between 32-37 weeks of pregnancy There are many different types of methods to use and all have different levels of success. Talk with your health care provider on which options they feel would be best for you to try.

At this point your baby is doing somersaults and moving around so I would not be too concerned at this point.

Try this website they have alot of information regarding this.
Good Luck! ~Bon

I am a sonographer. It is quite normal for a baby to be in a breech position during this time in your pregnancy. In fact, although your baby was breech during the ultrasound, later in the day, the baby might have been cephalic (head down) or in a transverse lie (head to the left or right side in the uterus). In fact, when I do an ultrasound, there are times that the baby is breech at the beginning of the exam, then later in the scan the baby can turn to another position. At 19 weeks, your baby has lots of room to move and turn.

Actually it's normal for the baby to be in a breech position, or head's up at 19 weeks. It isn't until the end of the pregnancy that the baby turns around, as you noted. It's nothing to worry about at all. But if the baby should continue to stay in the breech position, you might have to have a Cesarean. Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani both had to have Cesareans because they're babies were breech and everyone came out OK.

Your baby is very tiny yet so being breech is no big deal. The baby has plenty of room to move all around inside of you. My baby was breech to early on but as they grow they will move into position. So dont worry mom everything is fine. Congrats on new baby. Sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

Yes it is normal. I too am carrying my first child. I am 37 weeks now. My daughter was in breech presentation until I was 34, almost 35 weeks. Do not worry. She dropped into the vertex position and is ready to be welcomed into the world. Congrats on your first.

it is perfectly normal for a 19 week fetus to be in breech position. In fact, it is alright for the baby to be in any postion at this gestation. Large majority of babies (97%) will be in the cephalic or head down position by 36 weeks

Your baby has lots of time to move into position. Don't worry if he is breech right now. He will get into the right position when he needs to. If he doesn't the doctor will try to move him into the right position which can be very painful. But you really shouldn't have anything to worry about at this point.

It is quite normal for a baby to be breech up until the week of birth. My son was breech until the week before I gave birth to him (@ 39 weeks). Don't fret, honey, you have plenty more time.

Very normal... If it gets late enough in the pregnancy for the dr to begin to be concerned, there are things you can do to encourage the baby to turn head down. (Laying with your hips elevated for 10 min at a time, a few times a day...) But don't worry about that yet, there is plenty of time yet!! Enjoy, and good luck!!

I am a father of 6 and grandfather of 10 and I assure you that at this early stage of your pregnancy you have nothing to worry about, most babies will jostle themselves around in plenty of time and if the very worst come to the worst and the baby is still breached when it tis time to be born the doctor will offer you the chance of a ceaserian.

Good look
