Right shoulderblade: A yellow rose on a circlet of thorny vine with 3 blue-purple feathers hanging down. Looks sort of tribal, because I'm Cherokee. This was a fantastic cover-up of a 15 year old tattoo that had melted like candle wax and just looked like a blob.
Small of back: 2 large yellow, fluted flowers with vibrant green twisting vines down to my tailbone and also stretching and flowing up and across my lower back. It's a very large tattoo, area-wise, but finely detailed and complex. Very pretty and feminine, and gets me many compliments.
A good friend Leslie (she owns Pro Pain Tattoo here) designed them both freehand and tattooed them on me. She's only 26, but an amazing tattoo artist :)

I do not have a tattoo, but I enjoy body art. It seems to me that many PERMANENT artwork is great, but sometimes people don't know how the power of the artwork can affect their attitudes and lifestyles. (It acts like a totem.) One person had a "Winnie the Pooh" Bear placed on them, and oddly... that person became more and more naive and simple as the years moved on.
I create body art/paintings of a TEMPORARY nature and have a fun time doing it! The art could last anywhere from days to weeks depending on the care given the artwork. Eventually, the "Canvas" would be clear again for another piece of art. (It's more fun that way, and I have a fun time socializing when I am creating a work of art.)
Of course, (and this may sound morbid), if I were to ever have a PERMANENT tattoo,,, it would read "DO NOT EMBALM"

NO!!! I think God did as good enough job! I don't believe in desecrating or mutilating my body, thank you! Tattoos are ok on some men if there is some kind of brotherhood (like the armed forces) behind it or commemorating an event but only on their arms or chest, and even then I feel it is a slap in the face of God! No tattoo looks good on a girl! You might as well have a big scab! They look that gross!! Also this piercing business is rather ridiculous as well!! Some people are just retarded I guess!!

I have a small tattoo on my left hip. I wanted a tattoo I could easily hide and that people at work wouldn't see. It's the best place if you're not sure you want the whole world to know you have a tattoo.

I have 3. A shark on my ankle, a star on my shoulder blade and a japanese symbol on my lower back.
By the way, the people that say they dont want to desecrate their bodies etc etc, do you have any piercings? Do you wear make up? Isn't that messing with "Gods canvass" too? Dont judge people who have tattoos. Its just self expression like what clothes you wear on a particular day.
I have had my tatts for 10+ years and not ONCE regretted it.

Nope! I like my body the way it is. I don't want to mark it up w/ some drawing that I may regret down the line, especially when I am 60 yrs old and all my skin is sagging.

No. I'd like one on my thumb, but it wouldn't look professional. I'd hate to have something as inane as a tattoo affect my career.
