I'm assuming you work as a customer rep at a phone company. I don't know but I pay three dollars evey month for a insurance policy for broken phone and if I dropped in the toilet, however unlikely, I would expect another phone that is why I pay three dollars every month. But I can feel you pain I work at a hotel and have some of the dumbest people asking the stupidest questions and expecting the presidential suite for free

That's why you buy insurance. It happened to me when I was in the hospital, and let me tell you $50 sure was better than $300!

If they have Verizon wireless, and have insurance on it, they can...for a deductible. And Verizon's deductible is only $5.00 a month. ;-)
