Research shows that the 9/11 tragedy had been carefully planed with explosives.......

I've done quite a bit of reading about it, and I'm still not sure.

There is definitely a really strong case for believing in a U.S. government plot here.

This would not be the first time the U.S. has staged such things, though they have typically done so in foreign countries, not the U.S.

The pentagon had (I believe it was in the 1970s) put together a plan that involved hijacking and crashing U.S. passenger planes (with innocent citizens still onboard). The purpose of the plan was to create an incident that could be blamed on the Cuban government, to convince the U.S. populace that it was necessary for the U.S. to launch an all-out invasion of Cuba. Many inside the CIA, pentagon, and corporate America had had a major bug up their buttts to assault Cuba. The corporations were mad that their Cuban holdings had been nationalized by the Castro government, and the other interested parties had a rabid hatred of Communism and socialism....and couldn't stand to have such a political system only about 80 miles from the shores of the U.S.

Anyway, if you will read a good book on the history of the CIA, you will find that staging terrorist attacks, to influence public opinion is nothing new for them.

The U.S. funded the killing of thousands of innocent men, women, and children all over Central and South America, and many other parts of the world during the last 50 years. There is no reason, based on the real track record of this organization, to think that they would have a hard time bringing themselves to do the same here. (at least not to my mind)

The collapse of WTC7 is the most compelling for me; Not hit by planes. Not serious damaged by fire or falling debris, but happens to fall in what looks just like an implosion (controlled demolision), squibs and all.

One of the most compelling bits of data about the collapse of WTC7 (as well as 1 & 2) is that the building collapsed at the rate of free fall. This is absolutely not normal, according to all that I have read.
Buildings do not fall at the rate of 'free fall' naturally. This is because of all of the slowing that takes places as the lower intact structure of teh building resists against the force of the mass coming down upon it.

If my reading is accurate, the only buildings that ever fall at the same rate as 'free fall' are one's in which a controlled demolition blows out all of the main support structures before the debris above it impacts upon it.

This implosion method allows the roof of the building to reach ground level at the same rate as if the pieces of the roof were falling without any structure under them.

I also read some interesting analysis of the pentagon plane strike.

There is a picture that shows a piece of an aircraft engine (a turbine chunk if I recall correctly) laying on the lawn in front of the pentagon. The supposed experts claimed that this particular piece was far to small to be from a commercial passenger jet.

I haven't decided for sure that this was a staged event, but I am extremely skeptical about the standard story.

I don't know, but what I do know is they are not telling us the truth about 9/11, to include the explosive residue found by a BYU Physicist! And a missing 10 ton 757 which is 1/2 football field long!!

The purpose, if they did it, and there is only evidence to support someone is lying again, is a way to begin the take over of large oil deposits in the middle east!! Saddam was such a convenient target, though he had nothing to do with 9/11 and the admin knew it, the CIA knew it!!

Well ailsa, where have you been. I looked at all the CIA tapes, as did Fox news and no one can see a 757. Since they are 44 feet high, have a 125 foot wingspan, weighs 10 tons with 2 two ton engines and is over 50 yards long, they are pretty hard to miss, and it is very unusual that they found no recognizable parts.!

I dare anyone to show me that aircraft in any footage.

Where are all the Pentagon video's. A gas station has videos but the government, in the most secure building in the world, doesn't? Does that make ANY sense?

Sorry Ken, those building were made to withstand an aircraft strike, and if you look at the footage of the second strike, you will see most of the fuel was exploded out of the building.

Only 2 buildings in the history of the world ever came down like that, and they were the twin towers, even though some were on fire for weeks, and the Empire state building was hit by a bomber!

Look at 1 min 47 sec. Also listen to the pilot of what happens to a large jet going fast. They can't hit the ground until they are under a certain speed like 180 knots!

No, the US government did not plan the 9/11 tragedy. Explosives weren't needed for those explosions, because the planes the hijackers chose were ones that would have the most fuel, for long flights. Jet fuel is extremely combustible and produces a lot of heat.

Some people love to confuse everything with silly conspiracy theories, when the simplest answer is often the most accurate.

1.Your people was NOT happy; with some of your 'murdering' presidents ideas... 9/11 happened, and how many NEW laws and bills was passed? "The easiest way; to keep 'Control' of a nation? Fear! (Big Brother spring to mind???)

2. Why take a massive policy out on a building, that was scheduled for destruction?

3. What a perfect way to end the highlighted problem of over-population?

4. As soon as you start saying 'Muslims' were responsible... Would that NOT then benefit, the u.s and israel (with the ease, that they knew... they would have backing/support, from all the 'frightened sheep' who believe the media), to do WHATEVER they wished, under the catchy slogans... 'War on Terror' and 'weapons of mass destruction?

5. When bush was told... the look on his face showed NO response and blair had a statement ready... almost as soon as it happened... why/how? Because they BOTH knew!

6. And when blair saw how well it had worked... our government bombed London (a year ago today). But it didn't take the heat off labour... Questions were and are still being asked!

7. Why did bush use his cousin and 'daddy', to hijack the last election?

If the brain is used... the answers are clear!

I cannot believe for a second that the US government planned and carried out such an attack on its own people. The same thing happened here in the UK when our PM was accussed of allowing the Falkland Islands to be invaded by Argantinia so as to gain the PM some credibility at the next election.

At the end of the day the country was attacked and a response was required.

I dont doubt however that the 9/11 tradegy was an excuse to attack Iraq - who had NOTHING to do with it at all.

Politicians are a sad bunch of people at times.

No, it wasn't!!! Do you seriously think that the amount of people that it would have taken to secretly pull off an operation of this magnitude would have been able to do it without someone squealing? The terrorists didn't need explosives, the planes injected enough fuel into the towers when they hit to cook the steel beams supporting the upper floors until they softened enough to collapse and pancake all of the way to the ground.

I don't see how anyone could believe that for a minute. Not when Osama Bin Laden is sending videos and telling us that he wants to attack again. Unless people are saying that those are fake, too. Or that there was no Osama Bin Laden. If it really was planned by America, who do you think they "hired" or found to crash those planes? It'd be pointless to bribe them with money.
