Seeing as how these tracks, they run at pretty much a constant rate of RPM, they don't spin the motors up as high as they do at intermediate or short tracks. They usually keep them down to between 6500 and 6800 RPM. If they were to try and maintain a constant high RPM they would break something.

No idea, but V8 Formula 1 cars run at around 19000 rpm on the straight at Indy, while restricted V10 Formula 1 cars run at 16000 rpm.

Since they use restrictor plates at those tracks, I know it's going to be lower than the 7500-800 at most other tracks. I'd guess it's in the 5,000 range when in 4th gear.

I believe it is about 8500 but I don't follow nascar at all. I know formula 1 cars run at 17000.
