i am not racist at all.. but enoch powell was correct.. lets not forget the government invited most of the non-english here as cheap labour... which has resulted in many different types in england.. i personally think if anyone who is not born here.. and gets arrested etc, should be deported immedialty.. no questions asked.... more stringent checks on people coming in.... they must have minimum £20k in bank before allowed in.. (as Australia do).. only allowed to stay here for one month maximum then if not paying money into the country.. go home.. yes if people had listened to ep' then maybe 7/7 would have been prevented.. but they still could have come over just for the day...

No, if anything it would have come a lot sooner. We are probably getting secret intelligence for some of the countries where a lot of immigrants came from. The more a country isolates itself, the more it breeds hate. Just look at the US at the moment, their foreign relations are worse now than 9/11 because they shut up shop.

Enoch was a throw back to the Victorian era, a man trying to emulate the successes of his forebears, 7/7 happened because of our foreign policy, not our immigration policy. Waves of migrants have been arriving on our shores since before the Romans invaded, ( or became migrants to this "Sceptered Isle", depending on your viewpoint.). We depend upon cheap foreign labour, without it our economy would collapse. Cheap labour is the capitalist dream, and we are suckers enough to provide it.

Absolutely not. One of the best things about the UK is the variety of different cultures that contribute to society. Don't let a tiny minority of extremists taint that view, that's what they want.
Britain needs solidarity at this time more than ever. The racist bleatings of 60's politicians simply have no relevence.

People did listen, thought about it and then realised that he was talking xenophobic rubbish.
But if people had taken his stance, 7/7 would've happened a lot earlier.
