I think that they should make it a low-tax or no-tax zone - similar to Jersey - this would make it a more attractive place to live.... and the lower the tax threshhold the more people it would attract.... in fact, if they made it low enough you would get most of the people south of the border wishing to join. That's what its all about, money, money, money .... where there's a problem in this world it all comes down to money. Yep, I know that governments and religions pretend it's all about differing faiths and beliefs but that is just a transparent mask hiding the real reason -- it's all about money. Iraq, Afghanistan, the war on terror, immigration .... money, money, money. Make it financially beneficial to live in northern ireland and the problems will quickly disappear.

A wonderful place. I have many, many happy memories of NI. I worked in the shipyard for 5 years & lived in Bangor. My family came over as often as possible & visited many beautiful places. The coast road from Belfast to the Giants Causeway is stunning, but we missed the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Don`t read too much into the news reports I never saw any violence.

I would have loved to take my wife back at sometime, she loved it over there, but she is no longer with us.

I've never been there I'm afraid. Have met some people from there though and they were nice and friendly (I think thats an Irish thing to be honest, not just Northern Irish!).

violence is not a problem: I once had a job as a rear gunner on a milk float and never had a problem!
