Firstly, you need to work on your communication skills b4 you give anyone advice.
If I understand your question properly then I'm assuming you gave someone good advice and things went wrong. Now you are worried that your advice might not be the best there ever was.
Well, experiance is usually the best teacher. So if you genuinly intend to help people, just keep learning and you'll help yourself too. If things go wrong, there's usually a bigger lesson in the end.

If I guess right, I think what your saying is, have I followed
my own bad advice? In other words, have I done the very
same stupid thing, that I am now giving someone else good
advice on...Boy, that's confusing to write out. Anyway, I
only give advise on something I have knowledge or exper-
ience in. It's wrong to give people advice on something you
know nothing about. So, experience is our teacher. And we
need to learn our lessons well.

Is there a question here? If so, I admit I can't find it.
