I'm friends with this dude, who likes lean white girls. And I'm a big boned sister with a very nice shape i must say. I already know that he is attracted to me and he really likes me as a person. loves being around me and messing with me. And we help each other out all the time. I 'm so afraid to tell him how I feel because thier is apart of me that thinks that i'm not want he wants. And being that he is so shy and that I'm afraid the ice has not been broken. Your relationship sounds pretty good, actually. That is much more important than race or figure. Before you take action, though, I would encourage you to think about whether you are in a position to contemplate a permanent relationship with anyone at this time in your life, in particular with this guy.
The reason I mention this is that becoming non-platonic is a step in the direction of a one-flesh relationship. And the thing about sex is that if you 'do it' and then break up afterwards, you leave a bit of yourself with him, and he with you. So that kind of relationship needs to happen only within a permanent relationship (i.e. marrige).(1)
So even becoming non-platonic, taking steps down that road, doesn't make a whole lot of sense until you know that's what kind of relationship you want (i.e. you're engaged to be married). Therefore, if you aren't in a position to think about marriage yet, I'd encourage you to keep your relationship with this guy platonic.
If you are in a position to think about getting married (to someone, not necessarily him, unless you're already sure he's the right one), then why not ask this guy to spend some time with you, just the two of you, doing something nice together? Something that will permit you to talk while you're doing it. Then you'll have the opportunity to discreetly find out things you need to know to decide whether he's 'the one' for you, and also tell him what he needs to know about you to make his decision.

Right now you are friends...that will not change. I think he would like to know how you feel. He is shy so take it slow and let more time go by to make him more comfortable with you. Then... time will tell...You will always be friends. Sometimes we have this image of what our ideal mate should look like. One day you can meet someone who doesn't fit this image, but there is something about him...maybe his personality...that you really love and you find you are attracted to him!
