I have Multiple Sclerosis and have heard some use bees venom therapy for that to stimulate the anti-inflammatory effect in ones body. The results have been mixed.

I came across in Kama Sutra book ( no joke..) that bee venom helps expand blood vessels and increases the artery and vein size. Actually it mentioned as wasp. I believe it is the same family as bee.

I won't mention here however, the reason treatment by bee stung was mentioned in the book.

Bee stings cause the body to produce it's own cortisone and this can be effective in treating arthritis.
