A man is not your personal bank or gift giver. Does he make you laugh? Is he good to you? Do you enjoy spending time with him? Does he make you feel loved? Wanted? If the answer to these questions is yes, then keep him.

No...but he has every right to break up with you for expecting those thiongs.
There is no such thing as "training to be 'can can's perfect boyfriend" ... so it's going to be up to can can to show her boyfriend how to show that little extra bit of lovin...
so ... start buying him goodies ... give HIM money if thats what you expect.
And when he asks you "why"? - and he will
.... you let him know it's because that's what you expect in a loving relationship - for him to buy you things and give you money.
And, if he's a real boy - and I'm positive that he is...
by the time you celebrate your 10th wedding Anniversary...
he'll get it.
Love isn't measured by material wealth...
it's measured by how much you open your heart.
I wish you a great deal of that love.

Do you want an ATM or a relationship? You know why old billionaires marry young women? Partly because the women are gorgeous, but mostly because the men never found a woman who they had a loving relationship with: they were too busy seeking out money and nice things to stop and flirt with the girl at the coffee counter.

A Man shows his love to his woman
by giving her his heart (himself)...
there is no greater gift to a woman from a man, than for him to give you his heart!
Out of his love for you will come the security that you need.
The money and things will follow.
"His heart is your security"
So, if you don`t have your man`s heart, then all you have is a "shell of a man"
A mere robot (with robotic actions)...
So instead of looking for the material things, look inside of his chest and see if your in his heart. Now that's a true blessing!

If you think he should be offering you gifts and tht he is expecting more than a friendship (may be a physical realationship) I think you can quit. But to make a point friendship is not to be compared to money... frienship worth much more than any gift or money...
