Group IA: H, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr.
They have (first) IPs of 13.598, 5.392, 5.139, 4.341, 4.177, 3.894, and unlisted, respectively.
Compared to having a complete shell of 2 or 8 valance electrons, the elements in the 1A group have one extra. And it is easiest to knock out of its energy level (i.e. to ionize the atom).
The IPs decrease within a group as atomic number increases because the outer electrons (negatively charged) are held less tightly by the positively charged nucleus. (A vast simplification of atomic structure and the nasty mathematics of solving wave functions, but essentially true).

(IA)
the group number 1 with the lowest electronegativity .
actually Li is a exeotion.
because the electronegativity of this element isn`t fewer than "1".
although Ba and Ra have weaker valance electron than Li or Na.
so you can add them to the group
