how was harry's father james potter died? why there is no description of his death? and why the dementors are not in hogwarts in search of sirius black after the prisoner of azkaban series?

Harry's father was killed when Voldemort used the Avada Kedavra curse on him. He was trying to save Lily(his wife) and Harry, but he was unsuccessful. There is a description of his death, I think it's in the third book, when Harry hears his parents screaming and his father telling Lily to take Harry and run through the dementors. I think dementors were not in Hogwarts after the 4th book because Dumbledore didn't want them affecting his students again. Plus, Voldemort was probably already starting to rally the dementors to his side.

Lily and James Potter were killed by Lord Voldemort and Harry was left with a scar on his forehead because for some reason Voldemort couldn't kill him (hence the name "the boy who lived".) As for why dementors aren't at Hogwarts after the Prisoner of Azkaban is because they know Sirius left Hogwarts and went into hiding. There was no need for them to remain at the school.

James Potter was killed just like his wife, by Lord Voldemort, with the Avra Kadra curse. There were no dementors at Hogwarts after Prisoner of Azkaban series because Dumbledore had them sent back to Azkaban because they tried to attack students and there was no more danger at the shool

James died of ol' Voldy's killing curse. Dementors we sent packing at the end of POA by Dumbles.

He tried to stop Voldemort from killing Lily and Harry ,and Voldemort killed him in his efforts. Maybe we will learn more about it in Book 7.
They know Sirius got away from Hogwarts ( i don't know exactly)

Uhmm, leme guess: James potter died at the wand of voldermort (the 'avade kadrava' curse) in trying to protect his family...Dumbledore probably got rid of the death eaters
