Exit polls are extremely reliable and are used in third-world countries to detect voting fraud. Over the years pollsters have perfected the exit poll to the point of an almost exact science. Exit polling in the Ukraine exposed voter fraud that ousted the president of that country.

In a recent article by Robert Kennedy (link below) experts going over the Ohio results came to the conclusion that the only way the exit polls could have been so completely wrong is that there is "irrefutable evidence of vote miscount" and that Kerry should have won the election.

One expert, Steven Freeman, who "despises Democrats" was nonetheless puzzled over how the exit polls were so completely wrong. The conclusion he came to after an extensive search through the data was fraud--plain and simple fraud.

I believe that some elections are so close that they may have been decided by mistake...During the Civil Rights era many African Americans were turned away from the Polls eventhough they had just earned the right to vote at the time...

During the 19th Century.. some Presidential candidates were chosen in "smoke-filled rooms"- where Political favors were repaid.

Some things don't change...especially people's behavior

Because they were 'fixed'.

Exit polls have never been more than 3% inaccurate in any election worldwide. Then all of a sudden 11 states were more than 3% inaccurate showing Kerry had won. Funny how all 11 state's inaccuracies went for Bush's favor.

You can get the statistics by watching Robert F. Kennedy Jr in a PBS Charlie Rose interview at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4637109880655301000&q=bill+keller
Just fast foward to R.F.Kennedy part.

Because when given a choice between incompetent and nothing, people often choose incompetent.

Nature hates a vacuum more than the world hates Bush.
