Surround yourself with friends and family as much as you can. you got plenty of time for men. jumping too fast with another guy or even meaningless sex can make it worse. you may feel lonely now but trust me jumping the gun only makes the hole seem bigger. Go out with your girlfriends or groups, have fun.

your heart will mend and you will love again, just give it time.

for a man, some good sex and two weeks away from the ex-lover usually works. for a woman (sex might but probably wont work), just burn all the stuff he ever gave you. Cry it out, and have a long nights rest. You'll feel like a new woman in the morning. Do not smoke or drink to escape any heartbreak pains you're suffering. (better not to till at least a week after the break up) You'll just end up feeling like crap again when you're sober. Try to become sociable and hang out with friends/ pursue hobbies as soon as the relationship ends. Be weary of bouncing back into a rebound relationship as you may regret it later if the rebound isn't as great as you thought it to be.

Well, I have had my share of heartbreaks, so to a fellow rejected lover, I share with you a way to ease the pain. Step 1) Go to your nearest grocery store and buy either a Thomas Kemper soda, a Jones soda, or a IBC Root Beer. (All glassbottled, but non alcoholic sodas.) Buy a case of it, and take it home.
Step 2) After you drink four or five of the above mentioned drinks,
take several deep breaths, then do an activity that you really enjoy. (Like for me, I roam around town on my bike at least 3 times a week.) You should do this activity at least 2 times a week. After two or three weeks, you should feel much better. It worked for me and my buddies, so it should work for you! Good Luck!

Stick it up your ***. There is no cure for it .stop asking such ridiculous Qs and There is no such thing as falling in love and breaking your heart.
In the real world there is hunger, jobless, homeless, rape, murder, sex, drugs, alcohol etc etc.Wake up girl and look around you do you think you can fall in love and break your heart with all these going around in your neighborhood. Love just a mirage you see over the horizon but it disappears the moment you reach there.

Keep active. Go out with friends (to new places), join a club, find a new hobby, set new personal goals, etc.
Don't try to date too soon just for the sake of dating.
Depending on how long you dated, it will take some time. Don't try to reminisce about times with him or read through his old letters. Distance yourself physically and mentally.

break it again and again till there's nothing left... this is what I did, with the help of the people around me - and now I feel like "up and down, up and down, up and down"..... trying to survive - good luck dear... make sure that your friends are true and not fake people - there comes a day when you have NOTHING left but your old friends from childhood - from the age of innocence when love was pure..... take care of those friendships, cause they may be the only things you can hold on to... throughout your life

time, ice cream, friends, and don't stay in go out have fun who knows you might meet someone that makes you forget that broken heart. all i know is that you have to get back up and start again even if you don't want to maybe make a list of things that you want to do and do them. just don't stay in and sulk it never works.
