Not enough information. What is the nature of this persons affliction. You say patient. Are you really a nurse or a caregiver? In either case, you are in position of some control over this persons life and have the responsibility to not abuse that trust by inserting your own needs. If this person is vulnerable or incapable determining their own feelings, then maybe you should back away and allow some other caregiver to take over.
Don't allow personal feelings and needs to be confused with the needs of the person as a patient and your ability to provide that care. You need to establish a clear line between personal and professional needs. By separating yourself professionally, you will both be able to determine if there are still feelings that form a bond between you at a personal level.

are you an asian? you have to do what you came for. and not to fall in love. hide that feeling if you know the feeling is not mutual. but if it is, then i guess that's between the two of you. she won't be your patient forever, would she? (-_;)
