all guys aren't. some are but perhaps it's just the company you keep or people you choose to talk to. my husband and son are not chauvinistic at all. my husband likes to treat a lady like a lady but that doesn't make him a chauvinist, it makes him a gentleman.

Hmmm I suppose if you step out and try acting equal and people realize that you are not they would be Chauvinistic.

Most of them aren't, and plenty of them are chivalrous. You just spent time with the type of guy that most guys refer to as "that dumass". We're not all bad, you just have to look a little harder and a little deeper.
