After letting up off the brakes, I reach about 25 miles per hour and this regular drrh. drrh. drrh. sound starts. there are no noises when turning, only when going straight ahead. had lower ball joint and wheel bearings on front passenger side replaced by a shop. Afraid the races weren't replaced though. Still under warranty. Had the drivers side wheel bearings replaced shortly after. Is there a way to verify the work of the shop if this sound is being caused by one of these components. Sounds like the noise was coming from passenger side front.

You might want to have the brakes checked. How many miles are on the car? And have you had the brakes replaced lately? If not, pretty soon you will be hearing a high pitched squeak. That is a way to let you know you need brakes and soon.

Sounds are extrememly hard to diagnose without hearing them. Bearings for example almost always change in intensity depending on which way the car is turning. Example a right wheel bearing makes more noise as you turn in a left hand curve (the load is greater). However other things make noises, cv joints(front wheel drive) cars. Sometimes something as simple as a brake pad getting thin and the "early alert" snubber scraping the rotor.

Have your unspecified vehicle inspected by a qualified technician.

In most cases, when the bearings are replaced, the races are as well. It is possible that the brake backing plate is slightly bent, and is contacting the rotor.

Without inspecting your unspecified vehicle, this is my best guess.

I think that all those sexy rays that are coming off your body must be hitting the ties and making that drrh drrh drrh sound. From now on try to harness your rays and just fly around.

this can be led to by using your CV joint,i had an really similar issue, each and every time i'd turn the wheel it may grind, crackle and scrape. and the longer you wait the more severe it receives.
