After a little while of doing something if its not fun or really interesting i find myself day dreaming or just hyper and can't sit still. i like to be doing something fun all the time. I'm not do very good in school, if i could just sit down and do it! but i can't...one minute i will be doing something and the next i will be in a whole different world in my head. i never finish what i started. i have always been like this.
i have some test scores coming soon and i know i flunked a cupple things and i hate seeing the look of disappointment on my parents faces. I'm trying! i really am but its not working! what can i do? help me.

what u can do is just sit n think what do u want in ur life ?
What is ur aim?
then u sit in some open green place n try to take out everything from ur mind . try doin yoga in the morning it helps in concentrating. sleep early in the night n wake up early then take bath n immediately sit to do ur work . As ur mind is free of everything at that time u will be able to concentrate.

try goin for some games n all so that u can get a change n don't keep on sitting whole day on 1 thing just sit for 2-3 hpurs n then take a change may be u can go n talk to ur parents or ur brothers or sisters or any other work where u don't have to concentrate.
make a fix timetable to do everything daily n work on it.

Perhaps you have an affliction or an aliment. You could seek medical attention. The doctor may diagnose you and give you treatment or medication. Perhaps you do too many drugs or drink too much. Maybe you just don't get enough sleep, or you just plain lack conviction. If you can daydream about other activities for longer periods of time, you can concentraite on the ones you should be. Life isn't all playtime and if you really want to achive something to make your parents and even yourself proud you need to work at it. You sound spoiled and self-centered, grow up! Good luck, S.

I am the same way but in a worse situation becasue I do homeschooling. If you can, sign up for a camp or adventure thing. Bike riding, swimming, or do some fun sport activities at school so you won't get too bored or hyper.

I am going to a camp where there is scuba diving, excursions, forest camping, etc. And now I feel more open, and less bored to things.

sit down, take a deep breath, relax... just look at what you are doing, and tell yourself that you can finish it. if you start going off on a tangent, just shake your head and shake the distraction out of your system.

it helps to accomplish school work and such in a quiet environment free of distractions... such as at a desk in a room without a television.
