I don't know there are some good answers, I just have to say that I think it's crazy how in every horror movie out there, they always run up the stairs!!!!!!! Never down, why is that.......? Go down people, always down the stairs, unless they lead up to Heaven!!!!!

stairs dont go anywhere. Its the person using that goes both up and down.

Stairs don't move... only humans and animals use them to go up or down to their destinations...

i think stairs don't go anywhere, people do. If its meant to be one of those glass half empty, or half full questions, I guess it depends on who you ask.

they can go up or down depending on the ground level floor. What's above is up and what's below is down
