I am a Bush supporter, and will be regardless of the rest of the misinformed opinions here. He has done a few things I am not very happy about, but no president will ever be 100% popular with their own party, let alone the other side. Presidents are human, and they can make mistakes, just like the rest of us. I have never respected anyone who sits back and "arm-chair quarterbacks" the presidential situation, and then thinks the president is an idiot for one reason or another. Smart people don't criticize, they lead by example. Smart people are people of action and can recognize when smart decisions can't always be made in stupid situations. For those that blame any presidency for their current situation, shame on you. When was it ever the governments job to make your life whole? When did we stop being a nation of people who wondered what we could do for our country? When did we become a nation wondering what the government would do for us? What a bunch of whiny babies!! Toughen up and get a spine...... Start realizing that there is a "whole, BIG" picture here and not just your one little cause.

By the way, I don't recall seeing any of the names here on the last presidential election ballot.

I am a supporter of Bush, always have been. Whether you like him or hate him, he is always trying to do what's best for the country. He unfairly gets blamed for the 9/11 attacks, even though the first attempt at blowing up the WTC was in February 1993, when one William Jefferson Clinton was in office. Does Clinton get blamed for that? No he does not. Therefore the terrorists had EIGHT AND A HALF years to plan their big day. Bush can't get Bin Laden? Did Clinton? No, he kept shooting and missing. Did Iraq have WMDs? None have been found, though they had the "ingredients" to make them, and to sell to terrorists. It may have made President Bush a little jittery to know that Iraq was less than cooperative toward the weapons inspectors as well. Everyone seems to have forgotten that heavyweights such as John Kerry and Hillary Clinton also voted for the war in Iraq, but as it dragged on, they don't seem to remember that, and are distancing themselves.

NO one likes wiretapping? The terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks lived her for years, assimilating themselves into our culture. They communicated somehow, didn't they? I'm guessing they must have used phones and the Internet. Do I want my privacy invaded? Absolutely not!! But if it will help stop terrorists from murdering us, then by all means, listen in!

I just love that Republicans are ripped for ignoring the poor in the U.S. I am a Republican, but am far from rich. I work to help the poor. Do you think any Kennedy really gives a damn for the poor? Or course not. Democrats do not care for the poor any more than anyone else. Whatever will help them get a few votes, they will do. Republicans stole elections? Aren't Democrats trying to make citizens out of illegal aliens, hoping to turn them into Democrats so they can vote Democratic in 2008? That's not stealing an election?

OK, which Democrat will win the presidency in 2008? I'd like to know who will cure all our country's social and economic ills.

It's really amazing, the way people can see a situation and come to such completely different opinions. I think there several different types of conclusions, but I'll try to focus on the 2 major differences, the rich and/or religious right and the liberal, "let's all be free and happy" left. I am a Reagon Social Democrat, so I don't like to see the widening gap between the wealthiest and middle classes, we don't need many billionaires; i want ALL my liberties; and I believe we need a powerful military. Also, I believe we all need to respect the office of the president. But be that as it may...I don't think that Bush is an evil man...he really is the common man and about as bright as an average truck driver, but it is his connection to a party machine that has caused him problems. I think if he was unattached to such a powerful republican army, he might be ok...if he was forced to administer alongside a Democratic congress he would either have to compromise of he would fail miserably...I liked Pres. Carter too as a man, but he was ineffective...Bush would be too, or even more so, because without the powerful machiune, I doubt he would have ever been elected in the first place...there is a lot of mis-information influencing people...most people are ignorant. Basically, I don't think he is smart enough to create anything on his own.

As a person who believes in smaller government lower taxes and a real plan to rid the world of terrorists and the gonads to keep on that course no matter what the far left wing throws at him, I give him a B-. He is spending like a drunken sailor yet we are in a life and death war. But despite the unusual amount of natural catastrophes last year unemployment is at a 20 year low the tax money given (taken?) to the government coffers exceeded all estimates proving that tax cuts work and it's the people who run this country and not the government. But I will never be satisfied with any president until I see government pork and bureaucracy shrink by at least 25%. Gut feeling on Bush? A good man with a very hard job. He is stubborn in a good way and doesn't listen to negative BS by the left, he says what he means and meas what he says. but he waited too long to tackle immigration. that's why he gets a b-.

This administration is a group of misfits trying to patch up stuff as they go. **** Cheney is the worst of the bunch sitting back with his oxygen tank and waiting for someone to pop off George so he can take over. I hope they make it to the next election in one piece. That will mean that the world is still in one piece because tensions in the world are paper thin because of the decisions this adminstration has made since 911.

The Bush Administration is, to me, the epitomy of what an administration should not be. It is a ragtag group of unqualified cronies who just do nothing but fail in all of their endeavors. If you were to look at GWB's life, he has never been successful at anything. He was a failure at school (only getting into esteemed places like Yale through legacies), a failure in business, and a failure as President. In a way, his Presidency was good because it showed how superior Democratic economic theory is over Republicans, and it put to rest the concept of tax cuts being used to stimulate the economy (the worst concept ever!!!).

I like the administration just fine mostly, except I would pray they were lots more aggressive internationally,
I love for someone to tell the French where to get off

Domestically, the lack of any sort of control of the border invasion
sucks.
**** Cheney is wonderful, I would hope he would run for President.
