I really enjoy Gibson guitars, even tho I am a drummer. They just make a better natural sound (acoustic guitars that is...)

Ive always liked Martin acoustics, although I dont own one at the moment.I play Gibson,Fender, and Ibanez Electrics,Ovation acoustic electric,Takamine 12 string acoustic. My next purchase I plan to make is a Line6 guitar product which can simulate many different classic guitars with the technology they incorporate.I own other line6 gear that will really compliment the ax.

I prefer electrics - I have 2 Fenders (Strat and Tele) ,a hollowbody Gibson and I'm looking at a Rickenbacker 12 - would like to have a Les Paul and a PRS also. Theres no pat answer to this but my fav sound is the one a strat makes thru a Vox Ac30 driven hard with the top boost turned up. wonderful little harmonics going on in there.

Anything I do in the studio (acoustic wise), I grab my Martin D-28. I like the full rich, sound. Not all Martins are alike though.

For rock on stage, I like the Ovation series acoustic electrics. For country, Takamine. They have a thinner sound.

When I switch to electric, I have a Dean hard-tail I really like. Humbuckers set to the middle is where it usually goes. I actually sold my Fender Strat, because I didn't like the tuning issues it had. (Could have been just my guitar. It didn't have locking tuners.)

My guitar is a Fender Stratocaster. It's my dream guitar, basically. The sound is absolutely amazing.

My acoustic is a Garrison, and I love it.

Fenders are usually considered the best. I THINK Jimi Hendrix used a Fender, but I just heard that somewhere. I hear they have a distinct trebly sound.

I love Fenders. They have a nice sound. I can't remember my acoustics's brand right now, but my Fender is electric.
